SGLAB, based in the Ansan High-Tech Special Zone is showcasing its intelligent golf club, G-GRIP, at its booth. The largest science and culture festival in Korea, the '2025 Korea Science and Technology Festival,' opened today (16th) in Daejeon.
The festival will run until April 20th across various locations in the city, including Expo Citizens' Plaza, Expo Science Park, and Daejeon Convention Center. This integrated event, combining the Daejeon Science Festival (Daejeon City), Korea Science Festival (Ministry of Science and ICT), and Korea Science and Technology Exhibition (Ministry of Science and ICT), will feature participation from 518 institutions nationwide, showcasing diverse scientific content.
SGLAB is headquartered in the Ansan Small and Strong Special Zone, where Hanyang University ERICA Campus is located, and is presenting its intelligent golf club, G-GRIP, at the 'Curiosity Lab' in Hall 3, 2nd Exhibition Hall of the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC).
G-GRIP, which won the CES 2025 Innovation Award, is an intelligent golf club equipped with sensors that analyze your swing in real-time using only the club itself and provide customized feedback through a dedicated app. It records and analyzes grip pressure and swing path data in real-time during the swing to help users learn a more accurate swing. When connected to the dedicated app, users can check various data such as swing path, clubface angle, and club speed, and receive useful feedback to correct repeated mistakes. Without complicated equipment, users can check and improve their swing with just one club, making it useful for everyone from beginners to golfers looking to improve their skills.
During the festival, SGLAB's booth offers real-time swing analysis demonstrations, allowing participants to experience G-GRIP firsthand and receive lessons from CEO Eddie Cho, a former PGA professional. The event attracts many visitors, providing an opportunity for everyone from golf beginners to experts to experience innovation in golf technology.
